In order to meet the increasing complexity of the design and manufacture of specialized precision metal-formed components for aerospace, gas turbine and land/marine markets, Bomco uses the best available design and engineering management techniques. Our engineers work in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) environment with our customers. They are also skilled and experienced with the CPD (Concurrent Product Development) process and the CAD/CAM productivity of Unigraphics NX10 for tool design, programming and inspection. All NPIs (New Product Introductions) are launched with customers benefiting from regular interaction with their engineering counterparts, exploration of alternate designs and manufacturing options and frequent IPT meetings and photo documentation. All tooling and fixturing are designed and manufactured on-site, avoiding costly outsourcing. Master Model driven tool design, programming, manufacturing and inspection ensure product integrity. The result of this customer-oriented, concurrent engineering process is faster, better coordinated new product development, on-time deliveries and cost-effective manufacturing.
